i have to admit that i don't typically enjoy denver all that much.
but we had a great time on saturday night at the
underground music showcase.
basically, local bands play in different venues
(bars, coffee shops, restaurants, churches, etc.)
within a specific block all weekend long.
my friend gregory and his band
played at a sweet little hipster bar.
i swear, it was like church in that hot, sweaty room.
people were raising their hands, closing their eyes,
letting out shouts of joy, and consistently on the verge of tears.
i may or may not have been one of them.
