adventures with erin

Last weekend my dear cousin Erin flew out for the second time this summer to spend some time with me in Boulder. While here, we explored Pearl Street, ate lots of sushi, got pedicures, drove around Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National Park, and went to a Jack Johnson show at Red Rocks with Rusty, Ryan, and their friends, who were also visiting.

Here are some photos from the weekend:

Tailgating in the Red Rocks parking lot. We played cornhole and grilled out!

Rusty, Ryan, and Big Mark before the show.

In the amphitheater with Erin. And no, this is not our engagement photo.

Ryan and me. I've spent 40 hours per week for the last two years staring at Ryan, who sits just a few feet from me at work. Needless to say, he's a good friend of mine.

Erin was really excited to be there with me . . . or maybe I was tickling her as I took the photo.

Erin at Rocky Mountain National Park. Take note of the gigantic elk just a few feet behind her.

Erin made a new friend -- a chubby little chipmunk. This is the two of them, just after the chipmunk agreed to help her sew a dress for the ball.
