we celebrated shauna's birthday
by eating beside the boulder creek,
going out for drinks,
and laughing a lot.
shauna, among many other things,
is known for her laughter,
which i have had the pleasure of hearing
for approximately eight years now.
i am convinced that those years
would have been lacking a great deal of joy
had i not met her.

Shauna, you are looking so thin, you look really good, and I feel kind of left out of being part of the "sweetest people" catagory.
