On Monday night, due to the kindness of my friend Rusty (and my ability to persuade him to take me with him), I went to my first NBA game! Our company was giving away pairs of tickets for their suite at the Pepsi center for the playoff game, and Rusty won. Not only did we get to sit in the comfy chairs in the suite, but we also got a VIP parking pass. So yeah, I felt cool. :)Though the Nuggets lost, the game was incredible. Watching players like Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson, and Kobe Bryant in person is quite the experience! I realized right away that though these guys are not only incredible athletes, but also skilled entertainers.
I had some fun this evening messing around with some photos I took at the game (see above). Also, I'm including a photo of Rusty. Please note the sweet vintage jersey, which the majority of the people in the stadium were lusting after, and the dippin' dots -- the ice cream of the future.
