a bitter bill clinton in chillicothe AND in time magazine!

I grew up just outside of Chillicothe, Ohio, and when i was in the sixth grade, my grandad, a tried and true Republican, got me a ticket to see our new president, Bill Clinton, speak at the local high school. (See photo!) I don't remember much of what he said -- mostly because I was too busy trying to take photos with my mom's broken camera. (I think the security guys messed it up on the way in . . . what a day for a camera to break! But I did get to shake his hand!) Sure, in the end, Bill Clinton was an embarrassment to our country in a moral sense, but I still look back on that day fondly. Recently, he visited our little town again -- this time to encourage voters to support his wife . . . and it seems to have helped.

Time Magazine mentioned the visit in an article about Bill's role in Hillary's campaign. Kind of exciting for our little town.

Check it out by going here.

And thanks to Nick for bringing this article to my attention!
