coffeecovers

For the past couple of months, Shauna and I have been working hard to fulfill our long-held dreams of starting a business, helping the environment, and finding a way to pay off debt.

We're hoping to make these dreams a reality with a product we've developed: the coffeecover, a reusable coffee sleeve!

So far, we've had a tremendous amount of support from many of our friends and family members, as well as the kind souls at Pangea Organics, a Boulder-based organic skin care company. Last week, Pangea featured is in their monthly newsletter, The Soap Box, which was sent out to 14,000 people! Later this month, their marketing director will be taking 30 of our coffeecovers with her to New York City, where she will be handing them out to each of the A-list beauty editors (Elle, Lucky, etc.) she's meeting with! We're really excited and so thankful for Pangea's support. (Please check out their incredible products at www.pangeaorganics.com.)

It's been so much fun starting a company and trying my hand at marketing, web design, finance, etc., but what's been even more fun for me is watching the people around me get excited about the possibilities and offer to help out however they can.
  • Gregory is letting us borrow his sewing machine
  • Erin came up with the name "coffeecover"
  • Ian spent hours with me, teaching me how to set up a website (see the results at www.coffeecover.net)
  • Niles has been doing market research
  • Aubrea helped us cut
  • Jenna hooked us up with Pangea
  • Stephanie encourages us daily
(And these are just a few examples!) As a thank you and a tribute to the generosity of our friends, you'll notice on the website that we've named our designs after several of them.

So, you may be wondering how you can help as well. Here are a few ideas:
  • Send a quick e-mail to all of your coffee-drinking/tea-sipping friends and acquaintances, telling them about the coffeecover
  • Write a post on your blog about our product
  • Create a link to our website on your blog or site
  • Know someone who knows someone who knows someone? Tell them.
  • Purchase a coffeecover for yourself or for your friends (they make great gifts!)
  • Distribute marketing materials to coffeeshops and gift stores in your hometown (contact me if you'd like more info about this)
  • Use your coffeecover often
Take some time today to peruse our website at www.coffeecover.net

(Oh, and while you're there, sign up to receive the newsletter.)

The sleeves are available for purchase on the site, or you can contact me directly to place an order. And yes, bulk discounts are available. Just contact me! :)
