halloween -- palin style

This year for Halloween, I chose to play the part of Sarah Palin -- along with many others around the nation. 

My outfit consisted of the following elements:

• Glasses
  
• Jacket
• Camo shirt
  
• Two buttons: "Me 2012" and "Will Wink for Drinks"
  
• Prada purse
  
• "Miss Wassila" sash

As for playing the part, I focused on these objectives:

• Dropping my g's . . . drinkin', talkin', walkin', hangin', etc. 
• Randomly screaming, "I'm not ready!"
  
• Working "maverick" into most sentences.
• Winking at everyone in sight.
  
• Asking random strangers, "Can I call ya Joe?"
  
• Reminding everyone that I can see Russia from my house.
  
• Showing off my Prada bag.
  
• Answering most questions with "You betcha!"

I spent this fine evening with John McEnroe, Princess Pippy, Baby Adam, a gnome, a Bears super fan, Aphrodite, a fairy, a mime, and a few others. A fun time was had by all -- until the gnome poked John McEnroe in the eye with his pointy hat.
