I realize the election is over and I no longer need to convince anyone, but I just read this post on Donald Miller's blog. (Don is the author of
Blue Like Jazz.)
Honestly, I think it's one of the best commentaries on being a Christian and voting for a Democrat that I've read -- and I think it reflects my own views accurately.
So for those of you who are still having trouble understanding how it's possible to be a believer and vote for Barack Obama, I strongly suggest that you read this post:

mandy, what a great commentary from don. i really enjoyed reading it. i could relate on so many levels and love that he is trying to live consistent with who he is and what he cares about, not what he's afraid of.
