About a week and a half ago, my mom and cousin, Erin, came out for a visit. It was Erin's first time here, so I was extremely disappointed that the weather was uncharacteristically cold and cloudy most of the time she was here. But she was a trooper, and we still had a lot of fun! We had sushi, walked along the Pearl Street mall, visited Boulder Falls and the Columbine Memorial, and, of course, drank a lot of delicious beer from the local microbreweries.
I had planned to take my mom and Erin to Breckenridge so they could see it in all its snowy glory, but there was a bit too much snowy glory that day (blizzard conditions, in fact), so instead, we went to Oskar Blues in Lyons, and then on to Fort Collins for a brewery tour of O'Dell's. My mom and I also went to see the Swell Season and took a tour of Celestial Seasonings. Busy weekend! It was a really great time though, and I was glad to have them here!

Hey! I had a thought---we both had bad weather visits(you experienced a blizzard on your visit and we had May snow and wind.) I guess now we're even. I had fun and it was nice to get away from the daily grind here. Thanks for having me. Love ya! MOM
