It's true . . . it's about time for a new blog. I tend to feel a little overwhelmed by the idea of summing up a large chunk of time, which usually ends up discouraging me from writing at all. So today, instead of giving an overview of all that has happened over the last few weeks, I think I'll just write a short blog, related to Jenna's latest.
For the past few days, I've been feeling rather sick . . . scratchy throat, headache, fever, etc. Jenna, whom I trust to advise me on the best in homeopathic care, sent me a little recipe for wellness. I have yet to partake, but that's because I work in the middle of a field, full of corporate offices--no longer directly across the street from Boulder's premiere integrative pharmacy, Pharmaca, where I could easily pick up all of these products.
So here it is, folks:
Emergen-C
Goldenseal and ecinecea
Olive leaf
Ying chiao
And one zinc lozenge a day
Now, the last time Jenna gave me medicine, she also included a small flask of her uncle Danny's homebrew, which I believe to be the key to getting over a little cold. Unfortunately, I don't believe the homebrew is available at most pharmacies--not even Pharmaca.
Well, back to work . . . It's a slow day at the office, which always leads to some interesting activities. We've already tried to catch fruit snacks in our mouths, which ended in both fun and failure. And we've been listening to reggae, which makes snowy, 8-degree days much better.
More updates later . . .

Don't forget what Dr. Mom recommends: chicken noodle soup, hot tea, a warm blanket and plenty of rest. Hope you feel better soon.
