finally: a new blog
For all of you who actually check my blog periodically to see if I've added anything new, I apologize. I have seriously sucked at this thing as of late . . . mainly because I've been waiting for a moment to write the promised summary of our trip, complete with deep, contemplative thoughts about pain, suffering, hurricanes, texas, and 9 straight days spent with andy swanson. But I have not had time, energy, and whatever else it is that I've been missing to sit down and explore the inner parts of my mind and heart in regard to my experience in Louisiana. However, my partner in hurricane relief, Andy Swanson, has already done so. So until that day that I can sit down and reveal to all of you what happened, I'm going to refer you to his blog site. Obviously, we had the same experience as far as what we did and where we went, but because we are not the same person (big surprise), our perspective on parts of the trip does vary. So until the day I have time to write, please check out Andy's blog and read Louisiana parts 1 and 2. (You have to scroll all the way down to start with part 1). www.andyswanson.blogspot.com (or click on the link to Andy on the right).
