failing

So it turns out that I'm failing miserably at this whole blog thing. Perhaps most of you who read this (whoever you are) have already given up on me and no longer check my site. If so, that's okay. I understand the frustration that comes when you check a friend's site to read their latest blog only to find that it hasn't been updated since two weeks ago when you last checked it. Yeah, you know who you are. :) So once again, I'm going to try my hardest to keep this thing updated.

Life has been crazy busy lately. Between working at Gap and doing freelance work, I've had almost no time to do anything else. Everything is going really well though . . . church, Boulder, life, etc. Our church, Roots, is growing, which is exciting to see. The new people who have been coming are so great, and they fit in so well with our group that it seems as though they've always been with us. Ramin just finished a series on faith, hope, and love, which was really great. God uses him in some amazing ways to speak truth into our lives.

June seems to be the month of friends and family . . . Shauna and Jess are coming on Thursday, and they'll be here for a few days. I've also just learned that Monica is going to be in Westminster this weekend, so we'll be having lunch with her. Steve may come up to Boulder prior to his and Shauna's training for Navigators in Colorado Springs. I'll see the guys from Red Umbrella next Thursday night in Loveland. And in a few weeks, I'll see Samira. On the 30th I'm flying to Ohio for a week to see friends and family and my new neice, Claira, who will be born at 1:00 this Thursday! Crazy month . . .

Well, after working a nine-hour day at Gap, I stopped by the 24-hour starbucks to load up on caffeine for the night so I can work on a project. Better get started . . .

And just out of curiosity, I'm wondering if anyone really even reads this. If you do, leave me a comment or let me know somehow. Maybe that will give me some more motivation to keep this updated. :)
