laundry lessons

Tonight, I did laundry. Honestly, I don't do it as often as I should, but when I sit here at the laundromat tonight (yes, it actually has wireless internet access), I find myself asking why. The truth is that I really like the laundromat. It's relaxing, raw, honest--in no way glamorous. As I watch people pile their dirty socks and underwear into washers and dryers, I'm reminded that we're all essentially the same. We all get things dirty, and we all, though not as often or as badly as we should, eventually want them to be clean again.

But here's the burning question. WHEN IS LAUNDRY EVER REALLY DONE? I will agree with you on one thing: Laundry itself if usually RAW. Love MOM

i feel like there is a metaphor here i am not properly grasping. laundry, dirty, people, clean. no i got nothing.
p.s. why is there a picture of a person in a wheelchair beside the little security word
