new things

So I know Black Friday is supposed to be the day that everyone begins their Christmas shopping, but I couldn't resist splurging a little on myself. How could I not with all the amazing deals? Besides, I actually did have a need for most of these things . . . sort of . . :)

1. Creature Speakers -- My little MacBook's speakers just weren't cutting it, so I decided to hit up Apple's one-day sale. Shauna says it looks like an alien spaceship landed on my desk. It's true--but this spaceship can sing.

2. On Stage Micro iPod Dock -- I sit in a tiny corporate cubicle (actually, a triangle) all day long, and I need some good music to get me through the day, and this little guy is going to make quite the difference.

3. Laptop Case -- Urban Outfitters was selling this for $10!

4. Down-Filled Booties -- Not only do these look like moon boots, but if you were to travel to the moon I'd bet you a shiny nickel they'd keep your toes warm!

5. Snowboarding Pants -- It's true: I've lived in Colorado for nearly two years now and I have yet to snowboard or ski, which is practically heretical according to people who live here. But now that I have these sweet new Burton pants (check out the western design!), I'm ready. I'm planning on going next Saturday!
