So, here we go . . .
Spring break (March): Aubrea and I spent most of the week together, exploring Boulder, attempting to view it as a vacation in our own town, which really isn't too difficult here. On Pearl Street alone, there are many places I've never visited . . . shops, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Also, we spent some time on Flagstaff Mountain, enjoying the amazing view of the Front Range, as well as going to the Ben Harper concert. At the end of the week, we went to my new favorite brewery, Mountain Sun, where we summarized our Spring Break on a Scrabble board. Don't get some of it? Well, as you can imagine, there are many inside jokes:

Around Easter, Bubba (Chris), one of my best friends from high school, visited Colorado Springs. He was touring as a World Vision rep. with the VeggieTales tour. Yes, friends, he was traveling the country with giant, talking vegetables. So I drove down to the springs, where we hiked Garden of the Gods in very, very strong winds. Pike's Peak is in the background:

A couple of weeks ago, I went home to Ohio, where I saw a lot of great friends and spent time with my family. Thanks to everyone who came to the BBQ! It was so great to see you all! Here are some photos of Corbin and Claira. They're growing so quickly!

Most recently, I've really been enjoying the beautiful sunny days, working a lot, and spending time with friends. The goal for the summer: save money so I can go to Europe (maybe in the fall . . . just formulated a plan for that about an hour ago), be more creative, take more photos, buy and then ride a cruiser bike, read and write for pleasure, see some great concerts, grow deeper in my relationships with God and friends, and figure out exactly what it is I'm supposed to be doing at this point in my life.
Anyway, that's what's going on with me . . . must run to feed the meter!
